August 2013 The CMO Survey

The results of the August 2013 The CMO Survey are out and they're very compelling.   While CMOs seem to be more optimistic than in year's past, they report that they're struggling with measuring the value of marketing and the pressure is rising.  Only 51% say they have any kind of quantitative or qualitative handle on social media.  Sixty six percent repot pressure to put value to their efforts.    Some are turning to analytics, but the majority say they're ill staffed for it.   Seems like there are ripe opportunities for partners to step in and help.  Check out the report highlights below:
